SAFETY WITH PRE-ALARMThe ABUS brake disc lock GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 sets standards in terms of quality, protection and comfort.
An intelligent pre-alarm indicates movements at the lock and falls silent again in the event of a false alarm . If the lock is further attacked, an alarm of at least 100 dB loud will sound.Thanks to 3D Position Detection, the GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 reliably detects movements at the lock and initially triggers the intelligent pre-alarm, which stops again after seven beeps. Only then and with further movements does the 100 dB loud full alarm sound for 15 seconds.
In addition, the automatic brake disc detection system knows exactly when the lock is secure to the (bike) disc or not. This means that the GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 can be conveniently transported closed without the alarm function being triggered. Different colored LEDs provide information about the activity and battery status at a glance.
The hardened special steel from which the locking bolt, the housing and supporting parts of the locking mechanism are made ensures the necessary material strength.The built-in ABUS XPlus cylinder has been specially optimized to prevent manipulation, e.g. against picking attacks.
