The surface of the silencer has been reinforced with a special profile that improves durability and gives it a sporty look – just like on rally bikes. The race-tested materials reduce weight by 47.4% (2.4 kg) compared to the standard exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe produces a deep, sporty sound from the 799 cc engine. Tests conducted on Akrapovič's own dynamometer measured a +0.7 kW (+1.0 hp) increase in power at 3,500 rpm and a +2.4 Nm increase in torque at 3,500 rpm compared to the standard pipe.
