From its first introduction, the Tubolight proved to be a winner in all disciplines.

We all know why inserts are designed: to protect the tire from breakage and to improve the quality of the ride.
With the new Tubolight, a new standard is reached.
When we studied tire sag and how the inserts work with the tire and rim, we moved the material to the right place, on top of and outside the rim edge.
The part over the rim edge increases by 30-60% depending on the width of the rim and, together with a harder compound, the rim hits are significantly reduced.
The very tight fit is maintained as it increases lateral stability.
Air Channel:
The air duct between the inner part and the rim works like a valve.
During the impact, some of the air molecules inside the ring move from the outer part of the insert to the duct, causing a pressure difference. Because the insert is very tight at the edge, these molecules become
trapped and take a fraction longer to restore uniform pressure between the outer and inner parts.
This means that rolling resistance and tire bounce are reduced.
Together, these two features deliver what every cyclist is looking for: EFFICIENCY.
For the first installation, we recommend not to put the gasket on the valve.
